Mediport Services has just celebrated its tenth birthday.
We are proud of all that has been achieved over the past ten years and happy to have created
so many satisfying relationships with countless people active in the cruise ship world.
It will be a very real pleasure to continue our efforts in the years
to come and we look forward to generating many more rewarding contacts.
We celebrated our tenth anniversary in the company of about 120 close collaborators : ship agents,
port personnel, restaurateurs, wine producers, tour guides and drivers.
Without their efforts, we would never have accomplished so much.

The new jetty in Ajaccio harbour, specially constructed for cruise ships and which will allow ships of a length of up to 315 metres
and a draft of up to 9.50 metres to dock alongside, was completed according to schedule in October 2008.
The Celebrity Century was amongst the first cruise ships to make use of this new facility.

Mediport Services offers port agent services to ships in distress,
in this case a container ship needing to undertake repairs
in calm waters before continuing its route towards Livorno (Italy).

In the north of Corsica, a Cruise Club has been created.
It is at present working on the creation of a Welcome brochure, complimentary copies of which will
be distributed to passengers coming into the ports of Calvi, Ile Rousse and Bastia.
